About the Instructor:
A self-taught artist, Carol Lyng discovered the magic of pencil touching paper at the age of 6. Her admiration for nature is clearly visible in all her work. She is sought out internationally for her popular Animal Portraits.
For 30 years, while raising her 4 children, Carol was employed as a Graphic Designer. Once her children had flown the nest, she returned to her passion for Art. She finds teaching to be extremely rewarding, especially when watching her students glow with amazement at their achieved results.
Since the onset of COVID, Carol has chosen to learn and adapt quickly to the popular demand of online workshops. Blessed with this opportunity, Carol has been able to continue teaching and to reach out to so many at a great distance; Toronto, Hong Kong, France…

Artiste autodidacte, Carol découvre la magie du crayon qui touche le papier à l’âge de 6 ans. Son admiration pour la nature est clairement visible dans toutes ses œuvres. Elle est renommée à l’échelle internationale pour ses célèbres Portraits d’animaux.
Pendant 30 ans, alors qu’elle élevait ses 4 enfants, Carol a travaillé comme graphiste. Une fois que ses enfants ont volé de leurs propres ailes, elle est retournée à sa passion pour l’art. Elle trouve l’enseignement extrêmement gratifiant, surtout lorsqu’elle voit ses élèves rayonner d’étonnement devant leurs résultats.
Depuis le début de la COVID-19, Carol a choisi d’apprendre et de s’adapter rapidement à la demande populaire des ateliers en ligne. Grâce à sa nouvelle expertise, Carol a pu continuer à enseigner et à rejoindre un grand nombre de personnes à distance : Toronto, Hong Kong, France…
