- Description: Chaque année j’ai la chance de m’assoir les pieds dans le sable au bord de la mer. J’observe cette immensité d’eau. Les oiseaux, les mouettes et les pigeons rôdent en quête de nourriture. Les baigneurs arrivent chargés de tout l’attirail de plage. Les enfants cris de joie. Un pigeon tente de se poser sur une roche. Je l’observe. Je suis ici près de la mer pour me poser moi aussi. Je regarde la mer, les vagues qui viennent mourir dans le sable. Je suis en contemplation. Soudain, je suis cette mer. Je suis cette vague. J’ai l’impression que tout mon être se berce au rythme des vagues. Je suis minuscule dans toute cette immensité mais je suis cet océan. La nature me rappelle que nous formons un tout avec tout ce qui nous entoure. Telle la mer, je peux être douce, calme, silencieuse mais je peux aussi être forte, puissante et déterminée. / Every year, I have the chance to sit with my feet in the sand by the sea. I watch this vast expanse of water. Birds, seagulls, and pigeons wander around in search of food. Bathers arrive, carrying all their beach gear. Children shout with joy. A pigeon tries to land on a rock. I watch it. I am here by the sea to settle myself as well. I watch the sea, the waves dying on the sand. I am in contemplation. Suddenly, I become this sea. I am this wave. I feel as if my whole being is rocking to the rhythm of the waves. I am tiny in all this immensity, yet I am this ocean. Nature reminds me that we are one with everything around us. Like the sea, I can be gentle, calm, and silent, but I can also be strong, powerful, and determined.
