Following my retirement I was able to pursue my desire to paint and enrolled in art courses at the Laurentian Art Institute. My technique has evolved from a more precise decorative style to a more creative and personal approach.

My preferred medium is oils and I enjoy painting landscapes and am greatly influenced by the surrounding Laurentians in all four seasons. Still life is my secondary interest as long as they carry a rustic nature. I am still taking art lessons which contribute to my evolution as a painter.
